While some of us were itching to return to their office as fast as humanly possible, many others are feeling quite anxious about it. After spending so much time working from home and developing a new routine and way to work, the thought of dusting off your stretchy pants and 3-day old unwashed tee for appropriate office wear again might be quite a daunting thought.
So, what do I wear now?
Some may be looking at their closet at the suits and ties and thinking how foreign these items have been in their everyday wear. It may even feel uncomfortable and strange to be able to even place these garments back on again.
As workplaces try to navigate this new COVID-19 normal we have seen the easing of corporate dress policies across the board. However, while this is the case, it is extremely important that staff are positively representing the company and brand they work for especially when returning back to the office. It is also still important to know from a mental health perspective that dressing up is a sure-fire way to get your mindset right and ready for the task at hand. You want to walk through those doors feeling great and looking the part!
