Crafting Your Identity: Designing a Custom Uniform Range From Scratch

In business, making a memorable initial impact holds immense significance, especially when it comes to staff uniforms.

The task of creating a unique and polished appearance is pivotal in creating an impression on both clients and customers. Total Image Group (TIG) can craft your identity by designing a custom uniform range from scratch, from designs that harmonise with your brand to the careful selection of environmentally-conscious materials.

WHY CREATE YOUR CUSTOM UNIFORM RANGE WITH TIG?

TIG’s expertise in custom uniforms to align with a brand’s identity ensures that the resulting range reflects the company’s values and aesthetics.

Beyond a distinctive and eye-catching appearance, TIG prioritises functionality and comfort, ensuring that the custom uniforms not only look good but also cater to practical work needs. This can contribute to employee satisfaction and boosted morale, fostering a sense of unity within the team.

Moreover, TIG’s guidance on material selection and design can lead to long-lasting and consistent custom uniforms, even across different company locations. The potential for innovation and a streamlined process further make TIG a valuable partner in creating a customised uniform range that stands as a testament to the company’s unique brand identity and commitment to quality.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN CREATING A UNIFORM RANGE?

  1. Consult
We get to know your people, your brand and your customers (we want to impress them for you) When we start talking about what you need from your uniforms, we’ll cover a lot of ground.
Usually? There’s lot of questions, ideas and lightbulb moments about your brand. Here’s a few things we want to know:
    1. How do you want your brand to make people feel?
    2. How do your staff feel about their uniforms now?
    3. What are the typical conditions and climates your people work in?
    4. How are you different from your competitors?
  2. Design
We work together to create a uniform range to deliver on fashion and function including stock fabrics, custom milled runs or 100% recycled fibres.
Our inhouse designers live and breathe uniforms — and they jump at the chance to do something different to other brands. They get up close and personal with your brand and your people to create a custom uniform worthy of your values and aspirations.

We’re well known for our contemporary uniform designs across healthcare, retail, corporate, hospitality and automotive clients — our team builds your uniform package to meet your specs, budget and timeframes.

  3. Sample & Selection
After you’ve made your ultimate design choices, the next steps involve sampling and picking your preferred fabric options. Following that, you’ll proceed to select the breakdown of sizes and finalize any remaining decisions.

  1. Final Approval
Once you have made your final selection you will be asked for a final sign off, once you have given you final approval we are ready for production!
  1. Make
Ethical manufacture as part of a sustainable supply chain
Our China office is located in Qingdao, in the Shandong province where our specialised team communicates with our Australian team, including those based in Sydney and Mebourne, daily.

Our China team is made up with an operations manager, production coordinator, QC managers and uniform designers. We have team employees specialised in quality control who supervise the entire manufacturing process from start to finish. Like the suppliers in Australia, we only work with factories and suppliers that are aligned with our values.  We only work with factories that are certified in  ISO  9001:2000 (Quality Management Systems Certifications) and ISO 14001:1996  (Environmental Management Systems Certification).

All fabric that is manufactured is put through ITS (Shanghai) to ensure that all standards are met. All garments are manufactured to a prepared specification which is approved by each customer.

  2. Deliver & Roll Out
Once we have manufactured your custom uniform its time for your official deliver and roll out!

THE IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOWING EVERY STEP WHEN CREATING A UNIFORM RANGE

Creating a custom uniform range involves a series of steps that are crucial for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability in various processes and applications. Here’s why following every step is important:

  • Accuracy and Precision Following each step ensures that the range is accurately and precisely created, minimizing errors in calculations or measurements.
  • Design and Client Integrity: If the steps are not followed meticulously, inconsistencies might arise, leading to incorrect results or conclusions drawn from the data.
  • Quality Control: Thoroughly inspecting each uniform for defects before distribution is crucial to maintain a professional image and ensure customer satisfaction. Skipping this step could result in uniforms with visible flaws.
  • Sample Creation and Testing: Creating a prototype or sampling the fabric your uniform will be created with allows you to evaluate the design, materials, and fit before producing a large batch. Skipping this step may result in costly errors that need to be rectified after production has begun.
