September 18th is National Family Business Day. It’s a day designed to recognise the invaluable contribution family businesses make to the Australian economy, community and culture. As a proud family business ourselves, we not only recognise the importance of working with our community of family businesses but also the vital role that each member of our business plays within.
This year in particular, being the unprecedented year that we have had to face not only individually but also as a business, we have really experienced what working for a family business means. We have seen first hand the need for everyone to come together and manoeuvre through these times. The results so far has been an amazing example of team work, passion, support and understanding.
To celebrate Family Business Day we held a scrumptious morning tea to bring together the team and show our appreciation to everyone. As an added bonus, the morning tea feast was generously supplied by one of our most favourite family businesses Oregano Bakery. We also wanted gave a small token to our team in the form of our bespoke daily affirmations to brighten up their days and a fabric face mask to ensure everyone continued to stay safe.
